Daimler's main product is the Mercedes Benz. It is founded by Karl Benz, the other by Gottlieb Daimler. Both Benz and Daimler credited with inventing gasoline-powered auto engine. In addition, they manufacture and distribute Daimler cars. The company, which first started manufacturing in Germany in 1886, now operates in 20 countries. They distribute their cars to more than 140 countries through their nearly 8500 dealers worldwide. It is stated that the number of employees they have is around 284,400. By the last quarter of last year, Daimler had reported more than three million units of the car. Their total revenue was US $ 177.7 billion.
