Founded in 1903 in the United States by Henry Ford. He was an industrialist who revolutionized assembly line production for automobile.  Ford now employs approximately 201,000 people.  In addition to automobile production, they also provide credit facilities for customers to purchase vehicles. Ford manufactures cars in North America, South America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.  Ford began operations in India in 1926 but was forced to close in 1954.  Back in 1995, they started operations in India with Mahindra.  It is a specialty to carry it out very successfully today.  Their total sales last year were US $ 151 billion.  They had recorded more than 6.6 million car units.

Henry Ford was an American automobile manufacture who created the Model T in 1908 which was a America's greatest invention and in 1913 he invented the assembly line mode of production, which revolutionized the automotive industry. His innovation reduced the time it took to build a car from more than 12 hours to one hour and 33 minutes.
