Fiat Chrysler

It is an Italian company based in the Netherlands.  Fiat was founded in 1899 in Italy.  Chrysler is another company founded in 1925 in the United States.  Fiat Chrysler was formed in 2014 by the merger of the two companies.  Manufactured in more than 40 factories around the world. These cars are distributed in over 150 countries.  The company is affiliated with 225,000 employees.  Their total revenue last year was $ 128.7 billion.  They also reported sales of more than 4,880,000 units. 

1. Fiat introduced the first mini-van

                                       In late 1983, the first minivan rolled off out of the factory at Chrysler. The Plymouth Voyager and Dodge Caravan transformed mobility for the suburban American family. 
                                      At its peak in 2000, automakers sold nearly 1.4 million minivans to American families. Although the crossover SUV has taken over as the sales leader for the family-car market, there are still plenty of buyers that prefer the utility and car-like driving experience of the minivan.
